About the event
The job market for communication may reproduce asymmetries and inequalities present in our society. In addition, there has been an increase in debate about gender, sexuality and race bias in digital technologies that frequently perpetuate prejudiced practices and perspectives. Diversity could be decisive for businesses, generating a plurality of world views and expanding a company’s creative potential. Therefore, it is essential that communication and technology teams are representative and composed of different profiles, so they can communicative in a diverse and inclusive way. Have companies been understanding and valuing this issue? How could this issue be integrated within organizations in order to succeed when communicating? To celebrate diversity month, FGV ECMI will promote a discussion on these and other topics in order to reflect on diversity in the field of digital communication and in the job market.
