Anna Bentes

Professor

Anna Bentes is an Assistant Professor at FGV Comunicação Rio. She is a PhD and Master in Communication and Culture at UFRJ, and has a major in Psychology at UFRJ. She is the author of “Quase um tique: economia da atenção, vigilância e espetáculo em uma rede social”, published by the UFRJ publishing house in 2021, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Network of Surveillance, Technology and Society Studies (LAVITS). She is currently a fellow at Derechos Digitales and a columnist for Terra Byte, where she writes on topics related to technology and behavior. Her research interests are situated at the intersection between Communication, psychology and Digital Media.
