Catherine Moura is a PhD student at the Graduate Program in Communication at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) doing research on “Communication Aesthetics and Technology”. She is a Master in Communication at the Graduate Program in Communication (UFMA Imperatriz) and has a major in Social Communication – Journalism (UFMA Imperatriz). She is a specialist in Business and Institutional Communication Consultancy (UFMA Imperatriz), as well as a research member of the Research Laboratory in “Games, Gambiarra e Mediações em Rede” (GamerLab/UFMA) of the Visual Communication and Creative Editing Laboratory (Love/UFMA). Her research interests include studies on women in gaming communities, identity and resistance.
