Eurico Matos

Professor

Eurico Matos is a PhD and Master in Contemporary Communication and Culture at the Bahia Federal University (UFBA). He has a major in Social Communication (Journalism) at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). He is a professor at the undergraduate course in Digital Communication of the School of Communication, Media and Information at Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is also a researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD). He completed a doctoral internship at the Department of Communication and Media da University of Michigan with funding from the Sandwich PhD Program (PDSE-CAPES) in the period of 2018 to 2019. He is the leader of the research group Communication, Society and Digital Media. His areas of interest are Digital Government, Digital Democracy, App Studies, Mobile Communication, Political Communication in Digital Environments, and Data Science.
