João Felipe Sauerbronn received his Ph.D. in Administration and Master’s in Public Administration from EBAPE/FGV, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from FEA/UFRJ. He was a visiting scholar at the College of Media in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he joined the International Institute for Qualitative Inquiry. Dr. Sauerbronn has been successful securing grant funding from Brazilian research agencies and is a member of the Manuscript Advisory Review Board of the Journal of Macromarketing and of the Editorial Board of the Marketing Interdisciplinary Review (RIMAR). His fairly eclectic research interests include macromarkeitng, marketing and public policy, consumer studies and qualitative research.
