Luciana Veiga

Luciana Fernandes Veiga is a doctor in Political Science (Political Science and Sociology) at the University Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IUPERJ), with a post-doctoral internship at the University of California, Irvine (2013). She has been a CNPQ grantee for Research Productivity since 2017. She is currently a professor at the School of Communication, Media and Information at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and at the Department of Political Studies at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro. She was a visiting professor at the University of Granada in Spain. She has experience with Polical Science with a focus on Political Behavior and Political Communication, working primarily on the following topics: presidential evaluation, electoral behavior, political communication, and research methods on public opinion. She was the president of the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Political Communication – COMPOLÍTICA and the Brazilian Association of Political Science – ABCP.
