The Digital Communication Series is a series of open and free activities discussing essential topics in digital communication, organized by the School of Communication, Media and Information at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV ECMI). Involving webinars and in-person events, workshops and minicourses, we invite high school students, teachers and coordinators/supervisors, as well as any who are interested in topics and discussions within the field of digital communication, in order to learn more about the professional universe and the topics in this area.
In its 10 events throughout 2022, the Digital Communication Series sought to present the new professions and potential roles within this job market, including topics such as digital influencers and content producers, entrepreneurship, research and leadership. All these discussions can be found here.
In 2023, we will seek to promote discussions on topics related to the hottest subjects in the field of digital communication, such as Artificial Intelligence and Education, fighting fake news, communication professionals in the digital era, the role of diversity in communication, and much more. To discuss these topics, FGV ECMI has invited renowned professionals, professors and researchers to have a casual, laid-back conversation about these topics, with opportunities for the public to ask questions and solve doubts. In addition, we are also preparing workshops offered by the FGV ECMI labs (DAPP Lab, Innovation Cube and Media Lab) and enrollment in minicourses.
This series of events will happen in an online, hybrid and/or in-person format, and will be a great opportunity to get to know FGV ECMI and a bit more about the field of digital communication.
