FGV Comunicação Rio welcomed Cosmin Dobran, Director of the European External Action Service (EEAS), to discuss the Media and Democracy project, a School initiative supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Brazil Receiving Dobran were Carlos Ivan Simonsen Leal, President of Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with the school’s director Marco Ruediger and the deputy director Amaro Grassi.
Cosmin Dobran is the director for Peace, Partnerships, and Crisis Management at the EEAS. He oversees and coordinates the EEAS’s overall contributions in security, development, and diplomatic actions.
His visit was an opportunity to explore the various projects developed by the School's laboratories, with a particular focus on the Media and Democracy project, which seeks to support the strengthening of Brazilian democracy, ensure the integrity of digital spaces, and promote the dissemination of high-quality information.
