FGV ECMI announces new partnership with Aberje

The association between the two organizations seeks to improve corporate communication effectively and assertively

The School of Communication, Media and Information at FGV (ECMI) and the Brazilian Association for Business Communication (Associação Brasileira de Comunicação Empresarial – Aberje) announced a partnership between the two institutions last Thursday (23).

Founded in 1967, Aberje is a non-profit professional and scientific organization whose primary goal is to strengthen the role of communication in companies and institutions, as well as offering training and career development for communication professionals and spreading knowledge in this area.

ECMI Director Marco Aurélio Ruediger expressed his future goals with the partnership, emphasizing the importance of corporate communication in the context of today’s digital transformations:

“Today there are new challenges in how we communicate and relate: especially in the digital environment, products expand very quickly. In this context, corporate communication plays an essential role: based on it, organizations transmit their values, goals, results and targets, not only to collaborators and partners, but also to society as a whole. Knowing how to provide information effectively and assertively in an expanding digital world is also fulfilling a social function”.

The partnership seeks to produce knowledge and share the best practices to strengthen institutional communication and reinforce the strategic role of communicators.
