Undergraduate Course in Digital Communication organizes integration week with Globo, TikTok and FSB Comunicação

During student integration, FGV ECMI will feature important companies in the sector

In an integration week full of attractions, the School of Communication, Media and Information at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV ECMI) will organize events such as a seminar to inaugurate the partnership with Globo, talks with TikTok representatives and FSB Comunicação, and more. The activities will happen between February 5 and 8. 

The event “Globo at FGV ECMI: Challenges of communication in the digital era”, the only activity open to the public, will happen on Thursday (8) at 11am. The journalist Marcelo Cosme, presenter of the daily news program Em Pauta at Globonews, will participate. He will be joined at the table by Eliseu Barreira, head of Portfolio Management of Digital Products and Paid Channels at Globo, and Thaisa Coelho, head of Digital News Products at Globo. The moderator will be Professor Felipe Sauerbronn and Vice-Director Ana Guedes will deliver the keynote.

Gustavo Rodrigues, Public Policy Manager at Tik Tok Brasil, will give a talk to students about the platform's prospects and challenges for 2024. FSB Comunicação, represented by Director of Digital Strategy Daniela Pereira and Digital Strategist Dominique Thomaz, will give a talk titled “How to use artificial intelligence to enhance communication tools?”. The director of FGV ECMI, Marco Ruediger, will deliver an opening lecture on Digital Communication to open the week. 

The integration week is designed to integrate students, present the Digital Communication area, and describe the undergraduate course. Therefore, it also includes a presentation of the coordination, teaching staff, FGV support units, student-led bodies, and the FGV ECMI team.
